In 2003, Edinburgh’s Telford College and National Grid Property concluded an agreement that saw a new state-of-the-art educational facility, with the capacity to cater for 20,000 students and 600 staff, open its doors to students in Autumn 2006.  This is the largest purpose built college campus in Scotland in over 30 years. 

In addition to educational accommodation, the new college also offers excellent facilities for sports and recreation with a multi-activity gym hall and high specification dance and fitness studios.

There is a central student social area - 'The Hub' - which is surrounded by a range of hairdressing, beauty therapy, meeting and catering facilities.

Hair and Beauty salons at Telford College are now open for business - students, staff and members of the public are encouraged to come and sample the College's impressive new facilities!

Food is available from breakfast right through to supper - pop into the cafe for a quick snack or visit the restaurant for a meal prepared by the College's award-winning catering students.
