Future Development
With planning consent for at least 2000 units National Grid Property’s vision is to create a mix of residential styles that will stand the test of time. The first steps have already been taken towards achieving this goal with the sale of the 1st phase of residential land to developers in 2005.
Other investment opportunities will be unveiled in 2008 and further plot releases will be timed to enable investors to capitalise on local market conditions.
Change Managers
Developments as large as The Forthquarter do not look after themselves. The high standards of design and environment envisaged cannot be achieved or maintained without the active involvement of National Grid Property, the residents and occupiers.
The Design Guidelines compiled by National Grid Property and Foster and Partners set out in some detail what is required and expected of any development within The Forthquarter. Before a planning application is submitted, each proposal is appraised to ensure that it complies with the Guidelines. The Guidelines are designed not to dilute creativity but to raise the bar.
To ensure that the high standards set on completion are maintained into the future, a Management Company will be established to take responsibility for landscaping, security, litter collection, parking and general day-to-day maintenance. Everyone who lives and works at The Forthquarter will have a say in how it is run.
DTZ Residential: Residential and Joint Agents market The Forthquarter as an investment opportunity for property developers and provide expert advice with in depth local knowledge and global presence maximising The Forthquarter’s exposure to the marketplace.
