National Grid is pleased to be hosting 'Urban Adventure' at The Forthquarter Park on Friday 10 June 1pm - 4pm.
This free to enter event is organised by Active Schools and Pilton Community Health Project.
Aimed at nursery and primary school aged children and their families the organisers have worked hard to ensure that there will be lots of games, sports and fun activities, demonstrations and information stalls on offer.
Highlights include a visit from the Fire Brigade, Football, Rugby, Bouncy Castle, Zumba, African drumming and music, bugs and beasty hunts, face painting, cycling, orienteering, tug of war and loads more!
Refreshment is available - Come along and have some fun - but please note that all children under 12 must be supervised by an adult.
"it is great to see that more organisations are making use of this fantastic facility. The park already plays host to the annual community gala and we hope to attract more people here now that new cycle maps are available and promenade improvements are taking shape" said Jim Moore.
This event is supported by National Grid, Scottish Gas and Edinburgh's Telford College.
