Scottish Gas
The award winning Scottish Gas’s new Headquarters opened in November 2003.
The building, at Number One Waterfront Avenue, designed by award winning architects Foster and Partners, is the first major office to be built in the regeneration development and continues Scottish Gas’s 35 year-old association with the Granton area.
“The plans for the area will make the Edinburgh Waterfront one of the most exciting and vibrant in Europe. The large-scale investment in the development of this new high tech building demonstrates our long-term commitment to Scotland and our customers….”
Sir Michael Perry, Chairman of Centrica plc (Scottish Gas’s parent company)
The Headquarters, one of the largest customer contact centres in Scotland, is home to around 1800 staff who serve over 5 million customers across the UK.
The award-winning Centrica/Scottish Gas Headquarters building has also achieved an 'Excellent' BREEAM rating - the world's most widely used means of reviewing and improving the environmental performance of office buildings.
